Meet the Woman Behind VH

Before founding Vow Haus Weddings and Events, Emerson approached event planning through the lens of a rigorous business background, utilizing her Marketing MBA to marry creative design with structured strategy. She is the friend who color-coordinates itineraries, plans her grocery lists weeks in advance, and was told she’s “smart but keeps laughing in class” on her childhood report cards. Her business philosophy is simple: a flawless, memorable gathering relies entirely on the belief that

no detail is too small.

A big dose of humor, love, and a high level of focus and attention to detail are essential to her process. She firmly believes that wedding planning should be an exciting path to the main celebration, not a stressful checklist for couples to add to their mental load and schedule.

The true heart of her business was born during her own wedding planning journey. Living through the process firsthand gave her a profound appreciation for the massive emotional and logistical weight couples carry. She quickly realized that you don't just need someone to pick out linens or guide guests through the venue’s parking lot. You need an expert in your corner to manage the background noise and bring the pure joy back into the industry created to celebrate love so that you can actually enjoy your special moment.

Along with her absolute attention to detail and love for people, she brings an unmatched level of calm organization, strategic execution, and protective care to your wedding day. She strives to successfully strip away the background noise so you can focus on the pure joy of marrying your person.

Outside of the office, Emerson recharges by practicing Pilates, baking fresh treats, and spending time outdoors with her three beloved big dogs and husband. At her core, she finds joy in bringing people together, creating meaningful experiences, and ensuring others know they are seen, valued, and cared for. Whether coordinating a wedding weekend or spending time with loved ones, she believes life's most meaningful moments should be fully and deeply experienced.
